In November 2020 we were approached by Electric Robin to work on one of our most challenging projects to date. Not only due to the technical requirements but also COVID-19 implications.
The 3-hour long livestream gives an exclusive look at what the Nigerian star gets up to on a daily basis, as he opens up about his childhood and his music career.
The YouTube stream also give fans an insight into WizKid’s preparation ahead of his performance, where he will celebrate the deluxe edition of his new album, Made In Lagos.
The 15 Camera Outside Broadcast / Remote Production consisted of:
– 3 x Remote Cameras being fed back to the remote production gallery via 4G Bonded Cellular.
– 3 x Hotheads being fed back to the remote production gallery via 4G Bonded Cellular.
– 1 x In Car Camera being fed back to the remote production gallery via 4G Bonded Cellular.
– 8 x Sony F55’s with Cinema Glass shooting in SLOG2 being fed back to OB1 DTS Fibre Systems where they were graded live and ready for TX.
Outside of the 15 Cameras there were 30 separate channels of intercom across multiple remote locations.
To comply with social distancing guidelines OB1 was parked up at Pinewood Studios with a core engineering team running the truck.
Portacabins were then bought in for production, PA, Vision Mixer and Director allowing everyone to work safely maintaining social distancing guidelines.
It’s currently sitting on YouTube with 1.5 Million views – To have a look at the project please take a look HERE!
