The week before last was one of our busiest yet here at Over Exposed, with multiple productions happening almost simultaneously across the country.
It started in Leeds with DAZN x BOXXER’s Callum Simpson v Troy Williamson 2 at the First Direct Arena. From fight week through to fight night, our team was on the ground delivering the full live production, with multiple Sony HDC4300s, Steadicam, EVS replay, Riedel Bolero comms and Calrec Hydra audio all coming together to deliver a demanding few days of live boxing.
While that was happening, another Over Exposed team was 200 miles north in Glasgow for the UK’s Strongest Man Final for Channel 5. A completely different sporting environment, but the same focus on delivering a reliable, high-quality live broadcast, with multiple cameras, RF, EVS and communications across the production.
And just as one production was wrapping up, another was already underway.
We headed straight into Arsenal’s pre-season fixtures, turning around another full live sports production with multiple HDC4300s, EVS, RF and comms.
Three very different events. Three very different challenges. Multiple trucks and crews working across the UK, often at the same time.
What makes weeks like this possible isn’t just the kit — it’s the people behind it. From camera operators and engineers to riggers, EVS operators, sound, vision and production teams, everyone played their part in keeping each show moving and making sure we delivered when it mattered.
It’s always satisfying to look back at a couple of weeks like this and see just how much the team has achieved.
