BKB 57: Anarchy in the UK

Last Friday and Saturday, our team was proud to deliver the live broadcast production for BKB 57: Anarchy in the UK, providing comprehensive coverage across both Fight Week and Fight Night.

As the production partner for the event, our objective was to ensure every punch, reaction, and key moment was captured with the quality and reliability expected from a major live sporting broadcast. From the build-up throughout Fight Week to the intensity of Fight Night, our crew worked closely together to deliver seamless live coverage from start to finish.

At the heart of the production was our OB1 outside broadcast truck, which served as the central hub for the entire operation. Equipped to handle complex multi-camera productions, OB1 enabled our engineering and production teams to manage the live workflow efficiently while maintaining the highest broadcast standards throughout the event.

To capture the action, we deployed a multi-camera setup featuring Sony HDC-4300 cameras paired with Canon CJ12 broadcast lenses. This combination delivered the flexibility and image quality required to follow the fast-paced nature of bare-knuckle boxing, ensuring every exchange inside the ring was captured with exceptional clarity. A camera jib added dynamic sweeping shots of the venue, helping to convey the atmosphere and energy surrounding one of BKB’s biggest events.

Producing live combat sports presents unique challenges. The pace of the action leaves little room for error, requiring close coordination between camera operators, vision mixers, replay, audio, engineering, and production staff. Every member of the team played a vital role in ensuring the broadcast ran smoothly across both days, adapting quickly to the demands of a live environment while maintaining a consistently high production standard.

Events like BKB 57 demonstrate the importance of experienced crews, reliable equipment, and meticulous planning. From the initial setup through to the final bell, every department worked together to deliver a broadcast that showcased both the spectacle inside the ring and the atmosphere throughout the venue.

A huge thank you goes to our talented crew, technical team, and everyone involved in making the production such a success. Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment continue to make projects like this possible.

Congratulations to BKB on another outstanding event. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of BKB 57: Anarchy in the UK and look forward to supporting many more events in the future.
