Usyk v Rico – Glory in Giza

Yesterday’s production at Pelligon, Canary Wharf was a strong example of how the right setup and the right people make all the difference on a fast-paced live event.

We were brought in to support Usyk v Rico – Glory in Giza press conference, delivering a full De-Rig package designed to handle both the scale and intensity of the production. From the outset, the focus was on reliability, flexibility, and making sure every key moment was captured without compromise.

Built around Sony FX9 systems, paired with a selection of Sony lenses to give the team the versatility needed across different shooting conditions. To elevate the visual coverage, we also deployed a jib, adding dynamic movement and helping to bring a more cinematic feel to the overall output.

On the audio side, we provided a complete solution including press and comms, ensuring clear, consistent communication across all teams while maintaining broadcast-quality sound throughout the event.

Of course, none of this works without the crew behind it. A skilled, experienced team kept everything running smoothly from rig through to execution, adapting to the demands of the day and keeping things on track without unnecessary noise or disruption.

Productions like this are a reminder that successful live events come down to preparation, precision, and having a team that knows how to deliver under pressure.
